Steve Beagleman

Steve Beagelman is a franchise industry veteran with over 35 years of experience building, scaling, and advising franchise brands. As the Founder and CEO of SMB Franchise Advisors, he has helped guide more than 500 brands into franchising, establishing himself as a trusted authority in growth strategy, private equity transactions, and brand expansion.

Steve’s career spans entrepreneurship, executive leadership, and advisory roles across some of the most recognized franchise systems, including Hollywood Tans, Saladworks, and Rita’s Italian Ice. He began his journey as a founder himself, co-creating Black Tie Express, a multi-unit franchise that scaled to 30 locations before a successful exit.

Beyond his operational experience, Steve is a nationally recognized thought leader in franchising. He regularly contributes to Forbes and has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Franchise Times, and Franchising World. He is also a contributor to Franchising Strategies and serves on multiple advisory boards within the industry.

He holds a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) designation from the International Franchise Association and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Pace University.
